Sleepy Sloth on Branch coloring page

Cute little sloth hanging upside down from a leafy tree branch smiling. It is drawn as clean black outlines on white and centred on an A4 page with a 12 mm margin, so your printer will not clip an edge.

The shapes are large and open, so it suits younger children and fat crayons. Colouring it in here splits the drawing into 113 separate areas — click the bucket into any of them, or switch to the brush for shading that has no outline of its own.

A closer look at Sleepy Sloth on Branch

A sloth hangs upside down from a branch by both arms, eyes closed and smiling, its long coat drawn in soft strokes and its claws hooked over the bark. Leaves and small flowers fill the top corners around the branch.

113 areas. The face mask — the darker patch around a sloth's eyes and muzzle — is the feature that makes the animal identifiable, and it is easy to miss because the drawing only outlines it faintly. The fur strokes are for shading, not individual fills.

Sand and cocoa for the coat with a paler cream face, and the eye mask a shade darker than everything else. Ivy leaves above, and a chestnut branch. Keeping the sloth entirely in browns and the foliage entirely in greens is what separates the animal from its background.

Print it at 100% rather than “Fit to page” — the 12 mm margin is already in the PDF. The printing guide covers paper weight, ink and the print-dialog settings that matter.

Colour Sleepy Sloth on Branch in your browser

Pick a colour, then click inside any outlined area to flood it. The brush and eraser handle the parts that have no outline, and Undo goes back as far as you like. Everything happens on your device — the sheet is never uploaded, and your progress is remembered here so you can come back and finish.

On a phone or tablet, open Sleepy Sloth on Branch in the studio — the same canvas with the page around it cleared away, so the sheet fills the screen. Your colours carry over either way.
