Dachshund with Chew Bone coloring page

Long dachshund puppy happily chewing on a big bone toy. It is drawn as clean black outlines on white and centred on an A4 page with a 12 mm margin, so your printer will not clip an edge.

The shapes are large and open, so it suits younger children and fat crayons. Colouring it in here splits the drawing into 19 separate areas — click the bucket into any of them, or switch to the brush for shading that has no outline of its own.

A closer look at Dachshund with Chew Bone

A dachshund puppy stands with an oversized bone held crosswise in its mouth, the bone nearly as wide as the dog is long. Huge round eyes, two long drooping ears, and four stubby legs.

19 areas, the fewest of any dog sheet here. The bone covers most of the dog's chest, so those two shapes need to differ or the animal loses its front half — a white bone against a coloured dog is the simplest fix and the one the drawing expects.

Dachshunds are chestnut, black-and-tan or dapple. Chestnut with darker ears is the easiest and looks right. Leave the bone white or the palest cream, and put blush in the inner ears and nose.

Print it at 100% rather than “Fit to page” — the 12 mm margin is already in the PDF. The printing guide covers paper weight, ink and the print-dialog settings that matter.

Colour Dachshund with Chew Bone in your browser

Pick a colour, then click inside any outlined area to flood it. The brush and eraser handle the parts that have no outline, and Undo goes back as far as you like. Everything happens on your device — the sheet is never uploaded, and your progress is remembered here so you can come back and finish.

On a phone or tablet, open Dachshund with Chew Bone in the studio — the same canvas with the page around it cleared away, so the sheet fills the screen. Your colours carry over either way.
