Puppy by the Doghouse coloring page

Playful puppy sitting in front of a wooden doghouse with flowers. It is drawn as clean black outlines on white and centred on an A4 page with a 12 mm margin, so your printer will not clip an edge.

The shapes are large and open, so it suits younger children and fat crayons. Colouring it in here splits the drawing into 286 separate areas — click the bucket into any of them, or switch to the brush for shading that has no outline of its own.

A closer look at Puppy by the Doghouse

A puppy sits in front of a pitched-roof doghouse with a round entrance, surrounded on both sides by a dense bed of flowers and grass. A flowering branch hangs into the top left corner and the doghouse walls are drawn as horizontal log courses.

286 areas and the flowerbed holds nearly all of them — dozens of small blooms packed round the base of the house. They are the slow part and the best part; giving them three or four alternating colours reads as a garden, where one colour reads as wallpaper.

Cocoa logs with a chestnut roof, a sand puppy, then the flowers in rose, butter and white over grass green. Leaving a good number of the blooms white is what stops the bed becoming a solid block of colour at the bottom of the page.

Print it at 100% rather than “Fit to page” — the 12 mm margin is already in the PDF. The printing guide covers paper weight, ink and the print-dialog settings that matter.

Colour Puppy by the Doghouse in your browser

Pick a colour, then click inside any outlined area to flood it. The brush and eraser handle the parts that have no outline, and Undo goes back as far as you like. Everything happens on your device — the sheet is never uploaded, and your progress is remembered here so you can come back and finish.

On a phone or tablet, open Puppy by the Doghouse in the studio — the same canvas with the page around it cleared away, so the sheet fills the screen. Your colours carry over either way.
