Patterned Easter Eggs coloring page

Collection of large eggs with stripes, chevrons, dots, and floral motifs. It is drawn as clean black outlines on white and centred on an A4 page with a 12 mm margin, so your printer will not clip an edge.

The line work is intricate, so fine-tip pens or sharp coloured pencils get the most out of it. Colouring it in here splits the drawing into 338 separate areas — click the bucket into any of them, or switch to the brush for shading that has no outline of its own.

A closer look at Patterned Easter Eggs

Seven decorated eggs of different sizes overlap in a loose pile, each carrying a different treatment — horizontal bands, a diamond lattice, scattered florals, chevrons, dots and a scallop pattern. Small leaves and blossoms fill the gaps between them.

338 areas. Seven patterns at once is a lot of decisions, so the useful trick is to pick the palette per egg before starting any of them; going egg by egg without a plan usually produces two that look nearly the same and one that clashes.

Pysanky eggs traditionally use crimson, butter, ink and white on each egg with the white left as the base. Following that here — every egg using the same three or four colours but arranging them differently — makes the pile look like a set rather than a jumble.

Print it at 100% rather than “Fit to page” — the 12 mm margin is already in the PDF. The printing guide covers paper weight, ink and the print-dialog settings that matter.

Colour Patterned Easter Eggs in your browser

Pick a colour, then click inside any outlined area to flood it. The brush and eraser handle the parts that have no outline, and Undo goes back as far as you like. Everything happens on your device — the sheet is never uploaded, and your progress is remembered here so you can come back and finish.

On a phone or tablet, open Patterned Easter Eggs in the studio — the same canvas with the page around it cleared away, so the sheet fills the screen. Your colours carry over either way.
