Black Cat on Halloween Pumpkin coloring page

Arched-back black cat sitting atop a giant carved pumpkin. It is drawn as clean black outlines on white and centred on an A4 page with a 12 mm margin, so your printer will not clip an edge.

It mixes broad areas with finer detail, which works for school-age children and adults alike. Colouring it in here splits the drawing into 87 separate areas — click the bucket into any of them, or switch to the brush for shading that has no outline of its own.

A closer look at Black Cat on Halloween Pumpkin

A cat sits on top of a large ribbed pumpkin, tail curled down the left side, printed as a solid black silhouette with only its eyes, nose and whiskers left white. The pumpkin below is plain outline with a curled stalk.

87 areas, but the count is misleading — the cat arrives already black, so there is nothing to fill there. All the work is in the pumpkin's ribs, which are wide and shade beautifully darker at the grooves. There is no moon and no sky behind them — the two objects sit on bare paper.

Amber pumpkin with the ribs deepened to a burnt orange, an ivy stalk, and green or amber eyes on the cat — those eyes are the only marks you can put on the animal, so they carry the whole face. A pale background makes the black silhouette snap.

Print it at 100% rather than “Fit to page” — the 12 mm margin is already in the PDF. The printing guide covers paper weight, ink and the print-dialog settings that matter.

Colour Black Cat on Halloween Pumpkin in your browser

Pick a colour, then click inside any outlined area to flood it. The brush and eraser handle the parts that have no outline, and Undo goes back as far as you like. Everything happens on your device — the sheet is never uploaded, and your progress is remembered here so you can come back and finish.

On a phone or tablet, open Black Cat on Halloween Pumpkin in the studio — the same canvas with the page around it cleared away, so the sheet fills the screen. Your colours carry over either way.
