Stockings on the Mantle coloring page
Holiday stockings hanging by a warm fireplace with holly berries. It is drawn as clean black outlines on white and centred on an A4 page with a 12 mm margin, so your printer will not clip an edge.
It mixes broad areas with finer detail, which works for school-age children and adults alike. Colouring it in here splits the drawing into 199 separate areas — click the bucket into any of them, or switch to the brush for shading that has no outline of its own.

A closer look at Stockings on the Mantle
Three stockings hang from the mantel of a stone fireplace with a fire burning in the grate below, logs stacked on the hearth. A candle stands at each end of the mantel and a holly sprig with a bow sits between them.
199 areas. The stone blocks of the fireplace surround are the bulk and they are large — varying their greys slightly is what stops the arch looking like a flat frame. The flames are drawn as nested tongues, which is the one place to work light-to-dark.
Warm everything near the fire and cool everything away from it: amber and butter in the flames, sand and grey in the stone, then the three stockings in crimson, ivy and ocean so they read as three. Holly berries are the one spot of pure red worth saving.
Print it at 100% rather than “Fit to page” — the 12 mm margin is already in the PDF. The printing guide covers paper weight, ink and the print-dialog settings that matter.
Colour Stockings on the Mantle in your browser
Pick a colour, then click inside any outlined area to flood it. The brush and eraser handle the parts that have no outline, and Undo goes back as far as you like. Everything happens on your device — the sheet is never uploaded, and your progress is remembered here so you can come back and finish.
On a phone or tablet, open Stockings on the Mantle in the studio — the same canvas with the page around it cleared away, so the sheet fills the screen. Your colours carry over either way.
