Space & Astronaut Coloring Pages
Rocket Blasting Off to Orbit coloring page
Powerful spaceship launching with fiery smoke exhaust and clouds. It is drawn as clean black outlines on white and centred on an A4 page with a 12 mm margin, so your printer will not clip an edge.
It mixes broad areas with finer detail, which works for school-age children and adults alike. Colouring it in here splits the drawing into 225 separate areas — click the bucket into any of them, or switch to the brush for shading that has no outline of its own.

A closer look at Rocket Blasting Off to Orbit
A rocket with two strap-on boosters lifts off a launch platform, flame cones under all three engines and a huge billowing exhaust cloud rolling out to both sides. Saturn, stars and a crescent moon sit in the sky around it.
225 areas. The exhaust cloud is drawn as dozens of overlapping rounded lobes and is the whole bottom half of the page — it wants shading, light at the outer edges to dark underneath, rather than a flat fill. The rocket itself is only a handful of shapes.
A white rocket with a crimson nose and charcoal boosters, flames from butter through amber to crimson, and the cloud kept entirely in greys. Colouring the smoke is the common mistake; grey smoke is what makes the flame look hot.
Print it at 100% rather than “Fit to page” — the 12 mm margin is already in the PDF. The printing guide covers paper weight, ink and the print-dialog settings that matter.
Colour Rocket Blasting Off to Orbit in your browser
Pick a colour, then click inside any outlined area to flood it. The brush and eraser handle the parts that have no outline, and Undo goes back as far as you like. Everything happens on your device — the sheet is never uploaded, and your progress is remembered here so you can come back and finish.
On a phone or tablet, open Rocket Blasting Off to Orbit in the studio — the same canvas with the page around it cleared away, so the sheet fills the screen. Your colours carry over either way.
