A closer look at Cute Thanksgiving Turkey

A cartoon turkey stands facing you in the middle of the page: a round head with two big round eyes and a small triangle beak, a short neck, a big round body with a small folded wing on each side, and two thin legs ending in three-toed feet. Behind it a fan of eleven rounded tail feathers spreads in a single row. Two overlapping pumpkins sit at the left, one more at the right, and three small maple leaves lie in a row below its feet.

Only 40 areas, and every tail feather is one big closed shape with no line through it, so the fan is the quick part. Slow down at the wing tips, each split into two small lobes by one curve, and at the three small leaves at the bottom, where a fine tip helps. The ribs on each pumpkin split it into segments: colour them all one orange, or alternate two shades.

Brown body and head with an orange or yellow beak. Give the eleven feathers fall colours in a repeating order (red, orange, yellow, brown, green) so the fan reads as a rainbow. Orange pumpkins with green or brown stems, red and yellow leaves, and leave the background white.
