Striped Zebra Herd coloring page

Zebras standing in tall grass with intricate stripe patterns. It is drawn as clean black outlines on white and centred on an A4 page with a 12 mm margin, so your printer will not clip an edge.

It mixes broad areas with finer detail, which works for school-age children and adults alike. Colouring it in here splits the drawing into 538 separate areas — click the bucket into any of them, or switch to the brush for shading that has no outline of its own.

A closer look at Striped Zebra Herd

Three zebras stand together in tall grass — two adults with heads raised and a foal between them — each animal striped from muzzle to hoof. Grass blades cross in front of their legs along the bottom third of the sheet.

The stripes are the whole sheet: 538 closed areas, alternating, and if you fill two adjacent ones the same way the pattern breaks visibly. The bucket is much faster than a pencil here, and the foal's stripes are noticeably finer than the adults'.

There is no need to leave this black and white — slate, cocoa or navy stripes over a cream body all read as a zebra and look better than flat black at this stripe density. Olive grass keeps the animals forward.

Print it at 100% rather than “Fit to page” — the 12 mm margin is already in the PDF. The printing guide covers paper weight, ink and the print-dialog settings that matter.

Colour Striped Zebra Herd in your browser

Pick a colour, then click inside any outlined area to flood it. The brush and eraser handle the parts that have no outline, and Undo goes back as far as you like. Everything happens on your device — the sheet is never uploaded, and your progress is remembered here so you can come back and finish.

On a phone or tablet, open Striped Zebra Herd in the studio — the same canvas with the page around it cleared away, so the sheet fills the screen. Your colours carry over either way.
