Armored Stegosaurus coloring page
Plated dinosaur walking past Jurassic ferns and cycads. It is drawn as clean black outlines on white and centred on an A4 page with a 12 mm margin, so your printer will not clip an edge.
It mixes broad areas with finer detail, which works for school-age children and adults alike. Colouring it in here splits the drawing into 1197 separate areas — click the bucket into any of them, or switch to the brush for shading that has no outline of its own.

A closer look at Armored Stegosaurus
A stegosaurus stands in profile with a double row of kite-shaped plates running the length of its spine and four spikes at the tail. Palms and cycads bank up behind it and scattered rocks and ferns break up the ground.
The plates alternate along the back, and colouring them in one flat tone throws away the only depth cue the drawing has — alternate two close shades instead, so the near row reads in front of the far one. Most of the 1,197 areas are in the background, not the animal.
Grass or olive on the body with the plates picked out in coral or amber is the classic reading and still the strongest here. Keep the cycad crowns lighter than the foreground ferns and the depth holds.
Print it at 100% rather than “Fit to page” — the 12 mm margin is already in the PDF. The printing guide covers paper weight, ink and the print-dialog settings that matter.
Colour Armored Stegosaurus in your browser
Pick a colour, then click inside any outlined area to flood it. The brush and eraser handle the parts that have no outline, and Undo goes back as far as you like. Everything happens on your device — the sheet is never uploaded, and your progress is remembered here so you can come back and finish.
On a phone or tablet, open Armored Stegosaurus in the studio — the same canvas with the page around it cleared away, so the sheet fills the screen. Your colours carry over either way.
