Mighty T-Rex Roaring coloring page

Detailed outline of a Tyrannosaurus Rex in a prehistoric forest. It is drawn as clean black outlines on white and centred on an A4 page with a 12 mm margin, so your printer will not clip an edge.

It mixes broad areas with finer detail, which works for school-age children and adults alike. Colouring it in here splits the drawing into 474 separate areas — click the bucket into any of them, or switch to the brush for shading that has no outline of its own.

A closer look at Mighty T-Rex Roaring

A tyrannosaur strides forward mid-roar, jaws open wide enough to show the full upper and lower rows of teeth, arms tucked short against the chest and tail counterbalancing behind. Ferns fill the foreground and a treeline and low mountain sit behind.

The teeth are the trap. They are small, closed triangles and the bucket tends to swallow the whole mouth at the first click — leave the mouth cavity dark and the teeth white, and that contrast does the work. 474 areas, most of them foliage.

Olive and chestnut across the back fading to sand at the belly, with cherry inside the mouth. Keeping the ferns cooler than the animal pushes the tyrannosaur forward without needing any shading on it at all.

Print it at 100% rather than “Fit to page” — the 12 mm margin is already in the PDF. The printing guide covers paper weight, ink and the print-dialog settings that matter.

Colour Mighty T-Rex Roaring in your browser

Pick a colour, then click inside any outlined area to flood it. The brush and eraser handle the parts that have no outline, and Undo goes back as far as you like. Everything happens on your device — the sheet is never uploaded, and your progress is remembered here so you can come back and finish.

On a phone or tablet, open Mighty T-Rex Roaring in the studio — the same canvas with the page around it cleared away, so the sheet fills the screen. Your colours carry over either way.
