Triceratops at the Watering Hole coloring page
Friendly triceratops lowering its beak to drink beside simple reeds and rounded rocks. It is drawn as clean black outlines on white and centred on an A4 page with a 12 mm margin, so your printer will not clip an edge.
The shapes are large and open, so it suits younger children and fat crayons. Colouring it in here splits the drawing into 42 separate areas — click the bucket into any of them, or switch to the brush for shading that has no outline of its own.

A closer look at Triceratops at the Watering Hole
A friendly triceratops stands three-quarters to the viewer at the edge of a shallow round watering hole, head dipped to drink. Concentric ripples spread across the surface, with simple reeds on the bank and two smooth, rounded rocks breaking the ground line.
The water is the place to slow down: the nested ripples are thin, closed ellipses that the bucket can easily overfill. Keep the beak edge crisp where it meets the reflection, and watch the short grasses near the feet so they do not merge into the body outline.
Mint, olive or slate on the body with a cream frill keeps the dinosaur gentle rather than fierce. Pale sand for the bank, cool blue-grey ripples in the pool, and two greens in the reeds to separate foreground from background without turning the page busy.
Print it at 100% rather than “Fit to page” — the 12 mm margin is already in the PDF. The printing guide covers paper weight, ink and the print-dialog settings that matter.
Colour Triceratops at the Watering Hole in your browser
Pick a colour, then click inside any outlined area to flood it. The brush and eraser handle the parts that have no outline, and Undo goes back as far as you like. Everything happens on your device — the sheet is never uploaded, and your progress is remembered here so you can come back and finish.
On a phone or tablet, open Triceratops at the Watering Hole in the studio — the same canvas with the page around it cleared away, so the sheet fills the screen. Your colours carry over either way.
