A closer look at Floral Pattern Meadow

505 areas. The composition is the unusual part — this is not a symmetrical mandala but a corner arrangement, so there is no mirror to keep in step and no fixed order. The patterned flower centres are the fine work; the outer petals are all generous.
Because the flowers overlap heavily, adjacent blooms need to differ or the drift becomes one mass. A rotation of three or four colours worked along the diagonal keeps it varied without becoming random, and leaving the open corner white preserves the drawing's balance.
